But if it were left for our choice, none would get baked. We don't like any half baked dishes ourselves, then would our Lord want to leave things improper? Since He is very much concerned about us He does put us in flame, even when we cry out loud. Even though the pains is like that of a punishment, unlike punishment, it comes from love and care from our Guardian. And it is constructive, it helps us transform into something better which we wouldn't become otherwise! It is love! It is genuine love and care from Allah! "Even as it is for your growth, so is it for your pruning" Khalil Gibran on Love. True, it is hard for everyone. But if it were left for our choice, none would get baked.
