    Assalamu alaikum, JazakumuLlahu khairan for making these available again, they are from 1953, which is not that long ago. Incredible to see the changes in these few decades. I posted these in one of the Hajj archives, they are part of a National Geographic series. Speaking to some of respected elders about performing Hajj and Umrah during these days of simplicity and hardship does make the heart feel what joy it would have been to experience conditions then. :) for the link.
